Fundraiser Discount Cards the Only Way to Raise Funds

Band Fundraising Discount Cards
Fundraiser discount cards are the only way to go for school clubs and organizations, church groups, sports teams and other non-profit groups.  If you have never tried them for yourself, you cannot realize all of the amazing advantages.  Candy bars, cookie dough, jerky, candles, popcorn - all of these things are great and have their place in fundraising, but when you really want a way to raise a large sum of cash quickly, fundraiser discount cards beat them all by a mile.

Here are a few of the reasons why:

They're super-easy to sell.  Potential customers can easily see the value of the cards, which offer discounts at a dozen or more merchants in the local area.  These money-saving offers include discounts of 10%, 15%, 20% and more, along with buy-one-get-one-free offers.  The cards typically sell for $10, and when you consider the amount of money the card bearer can save over a one-year time period, it just makes good sense.  There is very little value in a chocolate candy bar or jerky, other than it tastes great!  People want to save money on those "every day" purchases, which is exactly what they get with fundraiser discount cards.

Profits are tremendous when compared to other fundraising products.  Considering that your group earns 30% to 50% profit on most products designed for charities to raise money, these cards are highly profitable.  In fact, depending on the size of your group and number of cards ordered, you can enjoy profits of more than 100% (this is possible due to getting 200 cards free with every 1,000 ordered).  Even at a minimum, you earn 50% - which equates to $5 per card, not too shabby.  Have a group of about 50 who will be doing the selling?  Order 500 cards, sell them all, and your organization has easily raised $3,500 at a 70% profit margin.  The more cards you order, the higher the profit margins.

Less work, fewer worries.  With fundraiser discount cards, there are no storage or spoilage issues like you often find with candy bars and cookie dough.  In addition, there are no heavy boxes to tote around from one location to the next or haul back and forth from the car.  Just tuck them away in a pocket, fanny pack, wallet, or purse, and you're ready to go.  Because they're so easy to take along whether you're going shopping or to a ball game, you're always ready to make a sale.

The work and planning involved is far less than with other fundraising methods as well.  All you have to do is decide which merchants you want to include on the cards, contact them to see if they would be willing participate, and order the cards from the company, which will design them with your group's name or logo.  In fact, the card company will contact the merchants for you if you would rather go that route.  Once they are printed up and delivered, your group is ready to begin selling.  It just doesn't get much easier than this!

As you can see, there are plenty of benefits to using fundraiser discount cards - and these are just a few of the most important.  Now can you understand why it's the only way to raise funds?

Fundraising Cards - Time for an Easier Approach to Raising Money

Raising money for non-profit groups and organizations can be fun and profitable, or it can involve an incredible amount of work and planning.  With fundraising cards, you enjoy great profits without all of the intensive preparation and hard work, and while this method of fundraising has been around for decades, it's just as popular and effective as it was in the beginning.  Whether yours is a school club or organization such as the band, choir, or PT, a church group, a sports team (hockey, football, baseball, basketball, etc.) or some other type of charity, we think you will find fundraising cards an amazing solution when your group is in need of funds.

With fundraising cards, you have a couple of different options.  You can choose the standard option in which the card company contacts and secures merchants' offers for the cards, or you can choose the do-it-yourself option in which you handle this task yourself.  Here is a quick overview of the two:

Standard full service card - Order 500 cards, your cost is $3 per card and if all are sold by your group, you enjoy profits of $3,500, assuming cards were sold for $10 each.  Additionally, you get 200 cards free with every 1,000 ordered.  You order the number of cards you need (250, 500, 1,000 and so on) depending on the size of your group.

Do-it-yourself card - Order 500 cards, your cost is $1.80 per card and if all cards are sold by your group at $10 each, your total profits equal $4,600 (you get 50 cards free, therefore profits are based on the sale of 550 cards).  With this option, you get 10% donation of free cards from the card company regardless of the number of cards ordered, so if you order 1,000 cards you get 100 free, etc.

Even if you choose the DIY option, the company handles all of the details (design, printing, shipping, etc.).  The only difference is that you contact the merchants and secure their participation.

Fundraising cards work so well because customers realize the great value they are getting, which isn't the case with many popular items used to raise money.  Customers who purchase a card get to use it for an entire year, and enjoy discount offers and buy-one-get-one-free deals on food, family entertainment, car services (tune-up, oil change, etc.), hair salons, and more.  These are products and services most people spend money on regularly, so the value to the customer is real.

One reason so many groups and organizations rely on the cards time after time is because of their ease in selling, but also because there is far less work and hassle involved.  With fundraising cards, there are no bulky cartons to carry around, and no worries about melting or spoilage like there are with candy bars, cookie dough, and other food items.  They're easy to store, and easy to tuck away in a pocket so they're readily available should an opportunity to sell present itself no matter where you may be.  Because customers realize their value, it also means easier selling for the members of your group, so no "hard sell" tactics will be necessary.

Are you ready for an easier approach to raising money for your group or organization?  Give fundraising cards a try, and you will wonder why you didn’t go this route a long time ago!

Fundraising Discount Cards Because Fundraising Should Be Fun

Have you organized several fundraisers over the years for your church or school group, sports team, or other organization?  If you have, you know that in most cases it can be a lot  more work than you bargained for - and more than those who participate really want to get involved in.  Fundraising discount cards are an ideal solution when you need to raise either a little or a lot of money, and you want to do it quickly with little effort.  If this is your first encounter with the discount cards, you'll be interested to learn all about them, their profitability, the benefits, and how it all works.

Fundraising discount cards are super-easy to sell.  Why?
People all over the U.S. love saving money, whether they're on a tight budget or not.  For just $10, the card bearer will save a ton of money over a one-year time period from the date of purchase.  Savings include discounts of 10% to 25% on average, and buy-one-get-one-free offers at merchants such as fast-food joints and restaurants, hair salons, gyms, car care services, florists, and more.  In most cases the card can only be used once per day at any given merchant, but you can see if it's used regularly the savings will be substantial.

Your group or organization can raise an unbelievable amount of money in just weeks.
Depending on the size of your group and how many cards you order/sell, you can easily raise thousands of dollars in just weeks. How many other methods have you used to raise funds that you can say that about?  Candy bars, cookie dough, candles, catalog sales, popcorn, t-shirts - this stuff is all great, but nothing compares to the profits you will enjoy with the cards.  Most individuals who participate can easily sell at least 10 cards, so if you have 50 who will engage in the selling, you can expect to sell 500 to 600 cards.  When you order this amount, your profit margin is 70%, which means your fundraising efforts will result in $3,500 or more!  Larger groups can expect to raise $10,000, $20,000, $50,000 or even more - this is practically unheard of in the fundraising industry.

Merchants and your local community benefit too
Think merchants will be hesitant to get involved with fundraising discount cards?  Not usually; after all, the merchant enjoys free advertising, increased exposure - and most importantly, more business because of the traffic the cards bring in with people wanting to take advantage of the deals.

Because the offers on the cards are targeted to your own local merchants rather than those that are national, your community benefits as well, and the economy is stimulated.  With fundraising discount cards, it's sort of like you're keeping it "all in the family", because everything is local. You don't find that with other common fundraising products.

We know it's hard to give up all of those old favorites, whether it's baking cookies and other baked goods to sell, putting together church cook books, huge multi-family yard sales, car washes, and all of the other methods and products that have been successful for so many years. You don't have to give up anything to enjoy the success of fundraising discount cards - just thrown them in with whatever else you're doing, and see your funds grow faster than you ever thought possible!
